johnnie angel - official killerPOP musician, accompanied by the saturday saints. doger - orlando's favorite jangly/eccentric popsters. yip-yip - voted most "wtf?" band in orlando by a panel of elders. doris delay - a golden ray of sunshine on orlando's zombie heart. band marino - they remind me of a a young the pixies with banjo & mandolin accompaniment.

kid sister - chi-town girl with a knack for club bangers. her big bro is half of flosstradamus. mapei - swedish chick kickin' out the jams. thanks to discobelle for turning us on to her. the tough alliance - sweden is the coolest country of 2007, and these are two of our favorite swedes right now. fibes, oh fibes! - some more excellent swedish music. kind of like bad soft-rock/smooth-music put through a hip, swedish filter.

kehinde wiley - crazy portraits, often with a hip-hop theme. kid acne - my favorite! tokyo plastic - amazing animations. methinks they're doing some animations for mtv right now. pictoplasma - these guys put out some awesome books regarding the wonderful world of contemporary character design.

discobelle - those swedes are on top of their shit. all the hottest remixes, new hip hop singles, etc. the FADER - damn, these guys are on it too, lately. now that they've got their blog and their podcast going, along with free, downloadable PDFs of each month's issue, they're pretty much on fire. vice - say what you will about vice, it's never a boring read. and yes, it's got the original "dos and don'ts". pitchfork - at times unfairly harsh on musicians, but usually right on. good place to see what's new in music. okayplayer - get your hip hop on at this fabulous site.
